Titleist Brand Ambassador Chesson Hadley (New Pro V1x) fired a final round 7-under-par 65 on the Upper Course at Peek'n Peak Resort for a one-stroke victory at the LECOM Health Challenge in Western New York.
Hadley recorded a tournament-record 23-under-par 265 total and advanced to fourth on the Web.com Tour money list, more than enough to wrap up a return to the PGA Tour as a top-25 finisher.
“I know 23-under is probably a record for me,” said Hadley. “I know I shot 22-under when I won in Puerto Rico on TOUR, but 23-under is the best I’ve ever shot. I peaked at the right time.”
The win marked the third career Web.com Tour title for Hadley, who also captured the Rex Hospital Open and Web.com Tour Championship in 2013. His last victory came in 2014, at the PGA TOUR’s Puerto Rico Open.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve won,” said an emotional Hadley. “Winning on TOUR and Rookie of the Year. I’ve gone from the top to the bottom and it doesn’t take long. I was just kind of reliving some emotions that I haven’t had in a long time. I’m thankful and hope that I can remember what it was like.”
Congratulations, Chesson!
