We all have that golf buddy. The buddy that knows what White Box Golf Ball Testing is and asks if you received any in the mail yet. The buddy that takes your new TSR driver on the first tee box, puts it down in a faux address position, hands it back, and says "sheesh that thing looks good!"
Typically this bond around Titleist equipment is shared between two, or a few regulars in your Saturday game. But, did you know there are hundreds of Team Titleist members just like you that meet up every year at bucket-list destinations for truly unique Titleist experiences?
The crown jewel of these events is the Team Titleist Invitational and we just hosted our 7th annual gathering in Central Florida at the top-ranked Streamsong Resort. With award-winning golf, once-in-a-lifetime Titleist experiences, and a group of exceptional people that love the Titleist brand, the Team Titleist Invitational is the culmination of everything this special community is all about.
Putting Reception
Team Titleist members arrived at Streamsong with putters in hand and were quickly greeted with their coveted Team Titleist Invitational tee gift. The group quickly put those putters to work on The Gauntlet putting course in hopes of going low to capture the prize of a Scotty Cameron putter. The 1.2-acre putting green was the perfect venue to reconnect with old pals, make introductions to new friends, and enjoy great food with even better company.
Day 1
Our first full day greeted the group with sunny skies and more goodies: a TSR valuables pouch stuffed with even more swag. Though you will find all three Streamsong courses on just about every best-courses list, the Red course unanimously leads the pack. The Coore Crenshaw design claims to "bring the drama" and it did just that with jaw-dropping views that had Team Titleist snapping pictures on every hole. The Red course alone was worth the price of admission, but the golf festivities were just getting started.
Post-round activities included more fantastic eats at Restaurant 59. New York Times Bestselling Author, Tom Coyne, joined the group to provide some deeper context and signed copies of his new book, A Course Called America. The group then headed to the practice range to join Titleist Golf Club experts and up-and-coming Tour prospect, Mac Meissner to experience New TSR drivers. Meissner's insanely repeatable swing allowed Team Titleist to truly see the performance differences when bouncing between TSR2, TSR3, and TSR4 driver heads. The group wrapped up the day with a TSR Trackman long-drive competition where one Team Titleist member took home a TSR of his own with an impressive 318-yard drive.
Day 2
Just 1 week after Titleist Tour Reps officially introduced the next generation Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls on TOUR, Titleist Golf Ball experts were at Streamsong resort providing the same experience to Team Titleist Invitational guests. Each attendee received 1 dozen of both 2023 Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls. They were also given the inside scoop on what to expect in terms of performance before putting them to the test on Streamsong Black.
The group was riding high after receiving tour-level treatment and experiencing another 18 holes of world-class golf. Right when one would start to think "how could this get any better?", Brad Faxon arrived to up the ante. Not only is Faxon a decorated PGA TOUR pro, but he's also revered as one of the best-putting instructors in the world, and he was gracious enough to lend his expertise to Team Titleist in an interactive putting clinic.
Closing Festivities
Closing festivities came sooner than expected as Hurricane Ian set its sights on Central Florida. That didn't keep the group from enjoying one last meal together to reminisce on the experiences had and, of course, see if they were lucky enough to take home a coveted prize. Players took home 27 prizes in the likes of Year-supplies of Pro V1 golf balls, TSR Drivers, T-Series Irons, Golf Bags, and Gear just to name a few.
Although the 7th Annual Team Titleist Invitational fell one round of golf shy of its scheduled itinerary, it was a constant sprint of golf, friends, food, and festivities that will never be forgotten.
A huge thank-you to our friends at Streamsong for going the extra mile to provide an exceptional experience in extraordinary circumstances. And a gigantic thank you to the truly special individuals that are the heartbeat of the Team Titleist community. Your patience, understanding, and unwavering gratitude for the event means the world to us—and we can't wait to do it again next year.
