It was a weekend of major success for Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists as Team Titleist captured five titles, including two Major Championships, across the worldwide professional tours.
In Scotland, Titleist Brand Ambassador Rafa Cabrera Bello (Pro V1x) relied on a full set of prototype 718 MB irons to capture the AAM Scottish Open in playoff fashion. With the victory, Rafa becomes the first player to win on the professional tours with the prototype 718 MB irons, and this was his first event with the new irons in the bag.
Sung Hyun Park (Pro V1x) captured her maiden LPGA Tour victory at the U.S Women's Open and Scott McCarron (Pro V1) captured his first major title at the Senior Players Championship.
Adding to the list of firsts this week, Titleist golf ball loyalist Brice Garnett (Pro V1) wrapped up a PGA Tour card for next season, winning the Web.com Tour's Utah Championship with a final round 6-under-par 65. And in Korea, Titleist golf ball loyalist KyungNam Kang trusted a Pro V1x golf ball to notch the 10th Korean Tour victory of his career at the Caido Male Open.
With these five latest wins, Titleist golf ball players have now recorded 111 victories across the worldwide professional tours, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 15.
