Bubba, thank you very much for the post and clarifing the "rules of the road" for testing products.  I think this post will draw most everyone's attention and hopfully continue to expand the Team Titleist community.

It's often discussed whether or not the profile settings of what's in our bags is used in consideration.  For example, I use the Pro V1x ball so it's often discussed if Titleist is testing the new version of the NXT or Solo line-up, would Pro V1 users be utilized or does Titleist try to kept within it's user market?

Thanks for the question. 

Our selection process for prototype testing is random and not associated with what ball an individual states they use in his or her profile.  However; the more complete your profile is and the more you participate in Team Titleist, the higher the likelihood you will be selected for testing.

james of tt I to have received test balls in the past and found them to be all better then the last ,my profile shows I use pro v1 but I tend to use all titleist golf balls when the conditions might favor that ball so if I receive two different test balls I would evaluate each one and comment on how they preform ,and if you play titleist you can tell witch ball is witch

Bubba, I was lucky to receive a sleeve of balls, two years ago. It took time, but I did find out which ball I was sent. With the post about new balls having circles and squares on them, I am sure that is a great way for TT staff to know which balls are being commented on. I hope that at some point after testing results are in, that TT will share which balls have the circles, and which have the squares. You can imagine the frustration of finding a ball you really love, but not knowing what to purchase.

We do not send out other pieces of equipment to test, only golf balls.  Hopefully you will be on the next list to receive some white sleeves.

i'll be honest, i was super excited to get a sleeve of test balls two falls ago. until i tried them. i'm a scratch handicap and rarely loose balls...the test balls i recieved were cut by wedges in consecutive 9 holes. (27 holes, all 3 balls were toast). I don't know if the sleeve i got was faulty or what but, i noted in my review and was kinda bummed they didn't last longer.

I agree, thank you for the "rules" this helps alot I think! I enjoy testing, reviewing and giving feed back...and from alot of kind people on here, Ive learned quite a bit and improved my game some!!!
