Thanks for your note and bringing this to our attention.  The short answer is no this is not common.  The good news is that the ferrule moving does not affect the performance of the club. We can replace the SureFit adapter on the shaft when the time suits you to return it to our repairs department in Melbourne.

Please consult your place of purchase and they will arrange the return of the shaft to Titleist and we will take it from there.
