  1. Super excited to have added the new Titleist GT2 Driver and Titleist GT2 5-wood to my bag!! After getting back into regular golf earlier this year I promised myself a new driver when I reached my goal of getting my handicap down to 15 by the end of the 2024. Fortunately I hit my handicap target early reaching 14.5 on 22 August, the day before the official Australian release of the new Titleist GT drivers and fairway metals. Thanks to Craig Delaney and the team at Drummond Golf Stanmore (Sydney) and in particular promising and talented Australian Amateur Coby Carruthers who fitted me for my new GT2 driver and GT2 5-wood.

The first hole of golf I used my GT2 driver was immediately into Saturday competition at Moruya Golf Club on the NSW South Coast yielding a 1-putt birdie on the tough par-5 opening hole, while the first hole I used my GT2 5-wood was off the tee on the challenging par-four second hole with a sharp dog-leg left which yielded a regulation 2-putt par. Onwards and upwards!! Thanks Titleist for introducing another great product suite to your range of exceptional golfing equipment!!

May it help yield many more birdies for you on the 1st hole at Moruya Golf Club. What a cracking set of clubs to use on one of the best courses on the NSW south coast!
  3. Absolutely mate. Catch you for a game in a couple of weeks!!

New to the group, how did you get so much TT equipment?
  7. Hi @JTobin. Collected it over the last few years. Also had the privilege of playing in two of the Team Titleist events (Canberra in March and Sydney earlier this week) which is the best way to pick up some cool TT gear. Happy golfing.
  8. Congrats on your handicap going lower! The GT's have been amazing for me, hope your handicap goes to single digits!

    Cheers
  9. Great clubs huh! I was lucky enough to get a very early fitting over here (nz) being my first Titleist driver since my 909D3 I forgot how damn fine they are to look down on not only at address but the satisfaction of removing the beast from the bag, knowing that it is actually a weapon. Since my 909 I had two cally drivers both of which were very good, but Titleist have really cracked it with this GT line up. @DClarke how are you finding the 5 wood? I'm still running cally fairway woods but if the fairway GT's are anything like the drivers I might have to save a few pennies

Just replaced my 910D2 Driver on Mitsi R-Flex shaft with a GT3 on a Mitsi Tensei 1k blue 65 after a fitting session by Titleist.
Will be picking it up in a couple weeks.
Have to say I was blown away by how much difference it made having a club fit to your swing and how much less variability there was in my shots immediately, I thought it had been just me not playing well! Turns out I am very consistent with my strike pattern, I would've guessed the opposite before, but it was almost entirely the shaft which was the wrong flex for my swing speed.
Only had time to do 1 club fitting so went with the driver as it was the least consistent.
Am now wondering what might change if I updated my AP1s to something fitted for me, rather than off the shelf.
Also looking forward to shaving a few strokes off my handicap once the GT3 arrives! Such a beautiful club
