The key for the prov1 is that many casual golfers do not know the benefits of the balls.  Many I have played with same the same until you truly explain where the ball can help there specific game. 

I hit the ball with a very high SS and am very conscious on trajectory and spin control with all my clubs as well as around the green so the benefits are very obvious to me  

Even for.the high handicapper the pro v1 line allows them to attempt and practice shots that you simply cannot do with a lower quality ball. I would rather see a beginner play the game learning how to have chips.check up and how to fly the ball into greens and truly learn control    

So I fully support all levels at least trying these balls as long term it teaches you to play golf in a manner that will enhance your enjoyment and excellerate improvement in your game 

I agree with Mike R.  I am a high handicapper (24), and I can tell the difference between a good ball (pro v1) and a two piece top flight.  You need a quality ball to learn how to control your landings.  If the yardage says 169, I want the ball to go and stop at 169 (if I hit correctly).  A distance low quality ball will not give you true yardage like a quality ball.  Finding a quality ball will let you dial in your game....  Hitting a clean shot is not the balls fault, but when I hit well, good balls make a difference.

I am 69 years old. 6 Hdcp at 6100 yds. I understand technology. I was taught YEARS ago to find a ball you like, play that ball and let the ball help your game. For a long time I played the DT. Did not have the swing speed for Tour Balatas or Professionals. Along comes ProV. Whole new ballgame. I drive the ball consistently 225-230. Hit many different ones and distance is marginal, feel and control are, well, different. Off the irons I want feel, true flight and stop/drop reaction. Off the wedges I want spin and control. NO OTHER ball has made me as happy as Pro VI. Yes, they are expensive but no more than drivers, irons etc. Right ball,  the clubs will do the trick. ANYONE can see the difference and anyone can enjoy this ball. 

i am a 7.1 handicap i have tried every ball on the market. some may spin more than the Pro V1 but none come anywhere close to the distance except the hex balls but if those hit a grain of sand they were ruined they were so brittle. so i would say Titleist Pro V1 balls are the best out there for anyone.
