I would love to do the same. unfortunately, i live in NC and there are no fittings here at this time

The fittings focus on short game shots - where most of us need to score better. There will be a Trackman or Flight Scope and the spin rates will be an important determinant in recommending a ball. Keep checking the site Rob mentioned. The fittings are outdoors and in Boston that may be well into May before they get scheduled.
The ball speed is a fallacy. I'm in the bottom 10% on this list, and I can control roll out on a green best with the Pro-V/AVX balls. With my lower trajectory, surlyn covered balls tend to roll off the back. BTW, while not official, the AVX is likely available at a pro shop near you. In WI, I find them essentially everywhere.

I did see the Titleist Thursday's is up but don't see the ball fitting as an option. I did sign up for the SM7 though. Also the AVX is available in some stores. I live in NH and i've seen them at the shops. Same price as the ProVs. I will say the AVX feels more like the ProV1s, IMO.

It is a bit early in the year for the ball fitting schedule in the northeast to be out. I would expect to see events posted as we get closer to May.
