Was out for a late afternoon quick 9 holes and happen to find a Pro V1X 332, with a seam, that had a dot before "Pro" and after "332" which I think dates back to pre-2007 if I'm not mistaken. Tossed it in the cart not thinking anything about it. Wanted to hit an extra drive a couple holes later, and rather than fish around in my bag for an old ball, I picked up the old 332 and hit it. Went 20 yards further than the 2 more modern/current balls I had hit off the tee and felt really good! Did the same thing again a few holes later with the same results! Couldn't believe it. Later I read on another blog about something who tested 4 generations of titleist balls and each generation was progressively longer. The 332 was not one of the balls that was originally tested but then he did test it and it was even longer than any of the others. Was this ball that good? If so, I would like to get my hands on some :-).
