Don't know about testing different balls at one time for each tester, but I was lucky enough to be selected to participate in the last batch of testing of Pro V1x balls, others got to test the Pro V1.  I'm gonna quote in the words of Mike (Team Titleist Manager) on selection process, hope you don't mind Mike  :)

Good post, I also was selected to test their balls recently.

I ALWAYS USE A SOFT BALL IN COLD TEMPS. ONCE IT HITS 70 I BRING OUT THE PRO V 1

I would also love to be on that test product list and hopefully will be chosen for that! BTW #TeamTitleist go ahead and send me some cool stuff while youre at it (;
