I get more distance with the X but prefer the Pro V1. It's a great ball. I've been playing it since they first came out.

I honestly can't tell much of a difference between the new 2013 Prov1 and Prov1x. They have a very similar feel to me. I also find distance, spin, control and trajectory to be very similar as well. Many say the X is longer, but the two furthest drives I've ever hit have been with the Prov1. They're both amazing balls.

i love the pro v1x. lower spin with long irons but still able to stop it on a dime with short irons and wedges. makes my mouth water talking about it lol

I used to play the ProV1 then switched to the 1x and haven't looked back. I think I'll buy a sleeve of new ProV1's this weekend and test them out against the new ProV1x.

For me, I find the Pro V1 has more spin, around the green and off the tee as well, that is probably why I loose a little distance on the drive. I also have to concentrate a little harder to avoid my natural slice raising its ugly head, but I like that too, it tends to keep me more focused :)
