Great To Be Back On The Course Again

    Hey Everyone here at Team Titleist. Hope everyone is doing well and playing great. After some months away from the game, I finally got to play a round of golf today for the first time since last September. Well I did play a round of golf since then but that was to do the R&D for the new ProV1 balls that I received from Titleist. I played the new Titleist against three other brands of  balls to do my R&D.  I now live in a new state. I moved from Alabama to Kissimmee, Florida. Stonegate Golf Club (36 holes) is only 2 miles from my house. As a matter of fact, there are 5 courses within 20 mins from where I live now. So no reason to not make it to a course over the weekends now. I had been to the driving range twice before today to practice to just knock the rust off. I played the Cypress Course (73.3/139) from the Gold tees and shot 80.  Round started off with the sun shining. By the 6th hole, a steady slow rain came and stayed with us until the 15 hole. I had not played in so long that I was not going to quit cause of the rain. Finished the round and was happy with the way I played in the sun and rain for not playing in a while. Bag and clubs are now cleaned and air drying. I may not be able to play every weekend but I will be on the range and practice greens every weekend working on my game. I missed the time away but now that I will have some time to play and practice, I will be working on my game. Again, hope everyone is doing well and playing some great golf. Keep it in the short grass and talk to you soon.

    It is so great to be around the game of golf again. A lot of my time is spent on the range now. I am now working at Stonegate Golf Club part time on my days off. So with the days getting shorter and not much sunlight to play any when I get off, I just go over to the range and keep my swing in grove so when I do get to go play some day I will be ready to play. I will just have to take a full day off to go play now. They say, practice make perfect, we will see about that. I have been challenged by a long time friend (Joe Durant- 4 time winner on the PGA Tour) to a round of golf with him again. When the time comes to play this round, I will be ready. I just wish that we could make it a four some and add Boo W. and Bubba Watson to this day as I have played many rounds with all three of these PGA Tour members in our younger days when we all played on the scratch tour in Pensacola, Fl. together before they all became Pros. Again, great to be back and keep it in the short grass and talk to you soon.
