Every year around this time I am waiting anxiously for a sleeve of test balls to try. It is like a Xmas present for me and this year I have not heard anything yet. Any1 received them yet?

Titleist seeded versions of the NXT Tour & S, Velocity, and DT-Solo this past fall - which just came out with the PGA show. Stay tuned for the seedings this year when testing starts for the Pro-V line for the 2015 release in late summer/early fall.
Many have posted about the test balls they got this past fall that compared favorably to the non-urethane lines.

How do you become a white sleeve tester?

I haven't received any test balls this year, but last Oct. I received a sleeve of test balls, and they were by far the best balls I've ever played. Problem is, I want to start playing that ball ASAP, but after three emails to Titleist trying to find out what that ball was, I have yet to get a reply. At last, I did contact Cathi at Team Titleist, and want to thank her for quickly getting back to me, but she is in the club division, and the test balls come from the ball division, so she couldn't help me, but she did contact me, but I can't get anything from the ball division. Unfortunately, after several rounds with the test balls I have lost them all, and have no way to compare them to other balls. Can anyone let me know who I can contact, or what I can do to find out what those mystery balls were? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you were part of the test panel last October you most likely received a prototype version of the current Pro V1 or Pro V1x. Keep in mind, we are constantly developing prototype golf balls and through the evaluation process we review the feedback we receive to continue along the R&D path.
Thanks again for helping us in the testing process.
All the best,
Mike

I also received a test sleeve last Oct. and my club pro and my league partner who plays with me thought the ball looked and acted like the ball I played all summer, the NXT Tour? Now you have me thinking were we wrong and should I look at playing the ProV1 like I did in the past or stay with the NXT Tour which I feel really suited my game as I have gotten older? Without any clear advice as to what they were I think I will stay with the NXT Tour?

Dear Mike, as a part time ranger I come across quite a few different balls and I get to test and compare the different brands and have found that none compare overall to the Titleist. I give many of my strays away to kids and patrons I`ve gotten to know, but the NXT Tours and PRO V1`s go right into my pocket. Keep up the great work. C.R.

for some reason I received a sleeve of test balls the middle of January. They were postmarked last fall so who know where they have been but they did play nicely, great distance. I had received an e-mail a good while ago telling me the balls were coming but when they didn't show up i deleted the e-mail. so who do i respond to.

After two full rounds of playing both balls it is apparent they are very different to me...one flies higher and one has a more penetrating flight path...at least off my clubs! LOL

I agree the balls are quite different. One goes higher. Both feel great around the green.

Would love to receive some test balls. I play 36 holes on Saturday's and Sunday's along with rounds on Tuesday's and Thursday's.
Would love to provide some feedback.

How do you receive test balls? Do you just have to be a Team Titleist member?

Haven`t seen any yet this year. Received a sleeve about a year ago and found them to be very long and straight but they weren`t stopping on the greens too well, at least not as good as my NXT Tours. Hopefully we`ll see something new this year to try, it`s always fun to give a new product a test. Still play the PRO V1`s as often as possible too, working as a ranger I frequently come across a few in the weeds. My advice: keep it on the short grass!--Chas

I received a sleeve a couple of years ago and forgot about this on a yearly basis. I play Titleist balls exclusively. Would sure like to get on that mailing list again.

Send me some golf balls please - love the NXT Tours
While we all enjoy being part of this great forum, I am not certain why the focus of this thread is thus far some feeling a sense of entitlement to participate in the testing of two different sleeves of golf balls which seems to occur once or twice each year. ...but lets keep up the great threads on this forum that is making it a great place to exchange experiences and thoughts and let the Titleist staff focus on more important daily work.
That being said, I would enjoy reading about what experiences people that were lucky enough to be part of the test panel are seeing balls compared to what is available in the marketplace...how often do we get to hear about what is around the corner from our peers that are actually testing the product! That is one of the great benefits of this site...Thanks Titleist!
Thanks for listening to me rant just for a moment, Chris

How do you receive balls for testing? With all my buddies using whatever balls they find, or cheaper balls. I usually get the laugh at the course cause I buy Titleist balls... Would love to test them lol
