My son has a handicap of 20 should he use a prov1x or a nxt tour

Is he playing golf for the fun of it? Is he seriously working to get better? How many balls a round does he gift to the Gods of Golf?
The NTX Tour is a very good ball, the Pro-V1x is a great ball, especially for someone at a 20 handicap working hard to improve their short game with guidance and practice.

I read an article in one of the golf magazines by a current pro golfer who said the average amateur golfer should play with what ever balls he finds on the course. This does not exactly answer your question.

Hi Leo,
The most important factor in determining what ball is right for your son is choosing which ball will help him shoot lower scores. Does your son need less spin, or more spin on approach shots into the green? Does he like the ball to check up, or release? The best thing to do is take both balls to the course and hit different types of shots with each. Tell him to pay attention to the performance of both and make a decision based off which ball will help him shoot lower scores.
Hope this helps.

OK thanks for the help

in my opinion there isnt really any ball out there that a 2 handicap should play and a 20 handocap shouldn't. it dosent matter what your skill level is.titleist makes clubs for high preformance but any ball out there you could play. which ever one reacts and preformes better he should play.
