If you're already using the NXT Tour, the only thing I would say is close is the Pro V1x.  I use both, it just depends on how much I feel like spending when going to the golf store.  I've been on a ball losing binge lately, so I've been leaning more in the NXT Tour direction.  The Pro V1xs definitely stop better on short chips and I like the way they putt better.  However, on a full iron shot into the green, the trajectory and stopping action from both the NXT and Pro V1x are pretty similar for me.  The NXT generally hits and stops, the Pro V1x may spin back a touch.  Also, I prefer the Pro V1x in colder weather, since the NXTs tend to run out a little further.

I highly recommend playing the Pro V1. The play characteristics is soft and long with great short game control with exceptional feel.  It always baffles me when players play multiple types or brands of balls or whatever is in their bag. This makes the game and shots you hit that much more difficult to predict yardages and reactions of your shots. Further, I recommend playing one ball as the ball you play will be more predictable for all shots from driver through putter.  I tinker quite a bit with my full complement Titleist clubs and will stick with what gives me the highest level of confidence for my game and to hit my desired shots.  As far as the golf ball, there is no compromise.  I play the Pro V 1 and trust it without reservation and wouldn't even entertain the thought of another ball.  I am sure you are a good golfer and even if you aren't or where you want to be yet with your game, I think you will benefit quite a bit with the Pro V1.  We all want the same types of outcomes from our shots and our game just like the pros - we want the ball to do what we expect it do and help lower scores for more enjoyment and better success on the golf course.  Try the Pro V1 and let us know!  Play Well!

If you can to flip the coin for the Pro V1 or Pro V1x those are hands down the best balls to play in my opinion.  If you play the NXT Tour but enjoyed the softer feel of the E6 i recommend trying the NXT Tour-S.  If i cannot swing the price of prov's which happens often because i'm a broke college student.... nxt tour-s are my second choice.  The ball characteristics are similar, very soft on the greens and distance is not impacted and on approach shots they BITE!

I've also used nxt balls, but have switched to prov1 balls this year. I'm a little long in the tooth but they work for me
