    Why I am fairly new to TT,I feel I owe Titleist a big thank you .

    This was my first season back on the links,and it was not a full season more like a half of a season,15 years ago I walked away from the game of golf,not out of frustration,but due to a new home and raising 4 daughters,I promised my wife if we move to this house I would put down the sticks.

    Fast forward to June 2014 a friend asked me IF i wanted to golf,and I  was hesitant because I knew my passion for the game would be ignited once again,and it was,ignited 

    To get to the point the easy part of the whole situation of going back out to the links was what ball to play,and it had to say Titleist.Why I have tried different balls in my earlier years.I always went back to a Titleist golf ball.

    When I went to the store to pickup some balls for my round. the golf ball display  was  over-whelming with the amount of different golf balls to choose from after 15 years a lot has changed.A sales man approached me and asked if I need help.

    I said Titleist please.

    So after all this time away from golf Thanks Titleist for being there and making it so easy to decide which ball to play.

    The season was great,while not being at the level I once was years ago,just being out doing what I love was a great feeling,Looking forward to 2015 .Really look forward to playing some amateur  golf tournament play again.

    Take advantage of the customization for the golf balls - they are quite addictive...

    Saw all the e-mails about the customization for the golf balls,what a great idea,not only mark your ball,but have a saying or name on your ball.Would have no question if it was your ball or not.

    I think the best golf ball I have used is the Titleist NXT Tour S. I had my first hole in one today at the Sewell's Point Golf Course in Norfolk, Virginia using a Titleist NXT Tour S. These balls are truly soft and long and provide great feedback at contact. Regards, Joe Moore

    Great story Joe and welcome back to the addiction...

    Just to share a bit of my situation here... 2014 is also my first season back after being away from golf for about 4 years due to work & living abroad.  Now I got a great coach to work with me couple hours a week to get my swing back and practicing 1 or 2 more times a week on my own.  Also given my previous set of clubs were from the 1990's, I've really enjoyed myself in the process of putting together a new set (maybe a little too much).  Wow I must say things have changed A LOT compared to when I got my last set.  Now there's only a few more clubs I need to upgrade and needless to say they'll all be Titleist!!!

    Hey John thanks .You hit the nail on the head when you said things have changed.Last time I got fitted for iron's it was a combination of measurements a impact board,impact tape. a net.and a well trained  fitter.Now there are so many tools in the arsenal to help with the fitting process,not to mention the assortment of shaft options etc.

    But the key still is the trained fitter.I cannot wait to try out some Titleist irons with a fitting program.

    Definitely!  Fitting experience with Titleist was an awesome experience.  Not only I was able to see how my shots were with the various models, it was also extremely insightful see the TrackMan stats and picking a shaft that is optimal in terms of spin/carry/ball flight/feel.
