Everyone is saying that the Pro v1s are the best but i get better results with NXT tour s. I drive the ball farther and more accurate, while getting the same spin around the greens. Should i try Pro V1x?

Hi Jeremy,
I think it's all personal preference. For my game, I like the pro v1; it's a ball that works for me the best. I don't think there is any harm in trying out different golf balls. If you are getting better results with the NXT Tour S, I don't think there is any reason to change.
Good luck!

I'll just say this, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

As the others have said, go with what works, and if it's working for you don't change a thing. I use both Pro V1x and NXT Tour. While I prefer the Pro V1x and use it more often, if I get on a "losing streak", I'll buy up some NXT Tours.

The old saying "Change Is Good" isn't always true, stay with what is working for you!!

About 6 weeks ago I switched balls, Pro V1 x to the NXT Tour S only because I wanted to use a Yellow ball. There is a difference in the balls especially on approach shots and around the green, but I've learned to adapt.
Today, after playing Golf for 35 years, I recorded my first Hole-In-One, using a high optic yellow NXT Tour S ball. Ironically the cart I was riding in was cart #13, the hole-in-one came on Hole #13!
BTW, I'm an old guy and I'll continue to use the NXT Tour S in high optic yellow. It's just easier for me to see the ball in flight, in the rough and on the fairways and greens.
I've tired other balls including the newest Cally ball in yellow, but for my game the NXT Tour S just flat outperforms all of them.
Use the ball that works for your game, not what everyone else is using or what you think is a better ball.

I play the NXT Tour and like its performance. Last spring I bought a sleeve of each of the Titleist balls and played several 9 hole games with each. With my 90-95 swing speed playing daily from the senior tees on a familiar course, there was not a difference in my scores, fairways hit, or greens in regulation. One of the things I like to see is when I hit a lofted club to the green, I want the ball to hit and stay right about where it hits, the NXT Tour and Pro V1x were both good for hit and stick. Anyway, heck yeah, try out the Pro V1x it is a excellent ball.

The NXT Tour S is a great performing ball and of course - valuable at its price point. Why don't you test both the Pro V1x and NXT Tour S head to head: accuracy and distance off the tee; control and feel for iron shots; and spin around the greens. This is the only true way to see which one fits YOUR GAME. Many people do claim that the Pro V1's is the best ball but may not benefit your style/goals for golf. Test both out and let me know your findings. Best of luck!

I think you've answered your own question. If you are playing better with the NXT Tour, why switch? Just because someone else plays well with a certain ball doesn't mean you should. With that being said, I think it would be worth grabbing a sleeve of Pro V1x's and giving them a try. But don't switch just because of the name.

You need to stick with what works best for you Jeremy, and it sounds like you have found the answer! No need to change something that seems to be working for your game.
