I am so impressed with these golf balls, especially for fall/winter use. My question is, do they spin the same? I see in the website comparison that they're similar except that the Tour is slightly longer off the tee.

Does the Tour S spin more? Is it similar to the Pro V1/V1x relationship? One of my buddies swears that the Tour S spins more, where it is just listed as softer feeling on the website, not a change in spin rate.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

I have been hitting pro v1's for a long long time. Recently I used one NXT tour on the course and received crazy check ups. I do not have specific stats to back anything just personal experience.

Always have used pro v1's. However, recently since the air has become cooler I switched to The NXT tour and man does it check up nice around the green! I have no official stats only experience.

I have found that the tour s does not have the spin of the pro v 1. Just my exp.

My subjective opinion is the Tour S generates more spin than the NXT Tour - at least side spin. Same comparison of the Pro-V1 relative to the Pro-V1x. My most reliable shots beyond chips/pitches are with the Pro-V1x/NXT Tour due to better directional stability.

I play the ProV1 I have found the NXT S has the same feel, a bit more distance off the tee and it feels similar to my Prov1. It stops nice but I do experience a bit more roll out. I can stop a V from 150yds about 2ft on a level green. Nxt about 4-5ft. I do hit a high ball on most iron shots. From my experience I'd say the feel is similar but the Nxt has a little less spin. But love both balls. I will say if you use the Nxt it is similar to the 1x and the Nxt S is similar to the V1 as far as feel goes. Once again just my own experience. Hope this helps
