Folks have asked for a yellow ball, but never been produced.

Dino,
I recently tried the NXT Tour S and it's a pretty nice golf ball. I normally play Pro v1, but the NXT was performing pretty nicely... plus, it's a little friendlier on the cost, so I won't feel bad for losing a shot in the leaves. Cheers.

Hi Ogie,
So, with the cooler weather, I was hoping to find a softer ball with some good performance. We get lots of soft fairways, leaves, etc. and it gets to be so easy to lose balls that I really don't want to play PRo V1/Pro V1x in the winter months here.
The weather was great ... cool temperatures (around 10 degrees Celsius/45-50 F). Lots of sunshine and the NXT Tour S performed quite well. It felt good off the club face and I managed to get some pretty good green side control. I could notice a difference in performance from the PRO V1x, but it was a good substitute ball at about 30% less cost.
I was pleased enough with the performance of the NXT Tour S that I plunked down my cash and bought a dozen to play with over the next few months. I'm glad that I persevered and tried the TOUR S!

I use the YELLOW DT Trusoft on sunrise and cold days as my course is tight and the Hamptons is in the 30's on morning rounds this time of year
Trusoft is VERY LONG but not so green side spinny

I like them. It is easy to identify when you walk up to it. Either your ball or your playing partner.

No they have not.

Over the past three years I had to have cornea transplants in both of my eyes. I started playing golf again this july after a seven year layoff because I could not see good enough to play. My vision is now a lot better hopefully in a year it should be back close to normal. I have to play a yellow ball because I cannot see a white one. If titleist made a yellow pro v1 I would buy it because I like to play a premium urethane ball. In my search I found the yellow chrome soft and I have to tell you it is amazing! But I have always been a titleist guy and the nxt tour yellow is just nowhere near soft enough. I know there are a lot of golf purists around that do not like yellow balls but some of us do not have a choice if we cant see! I think a yellow pro v1 would be a good idea!

Yes I play the DT Solo(yellow) in the fall. Just a softer ball for the cooler weather.I think a lot of us here are waiting to see a yellow ProV. For now it's white in the summer yellow in the fall.

I prefer a regular white ball year round. Many people on my home course use yellow balls and I often find them in the brush. Nothing against them just prefer white more.

Well, since Titleist hasn't done it, I produced yellow and orange ProV1's last night using RIT Synthetic dye. 1 tsp per cup of water Pink was the first color to try but it's hard to see them land. Hopefully, orange and yellow will be easier to see.

Yeah, I have been looking for a box of the new TruSoft in yellow, but still haven't seen any.
I prefer a softer ball in the cold weather, and appreciate the yellow for visibility.
Let us know how you like them!

Kelvin WWeston super Mare,
Hi, why do Titleist not manufacture their ProV1 and ProV1x golf balls in yellow, the same as the rest of their range, I watch a fair amount of golf on TV and notice yellow balls are used by a number of professionals.

I use the Yellow Ball in the fall here in Upstate NY.

I used to play the ProV X but switched to playing the NXT Tour S Yellow ball. Its much easier to see and find. Not all my shots end up in the fairway, so rummaging through the woods and rough, its easier to spot the yellow ball. I sure wish Titleist would come out with a ProV X yellow ball. Can't tell you the number of people I know that used to play ProV's but switched to competitor balls because they were available in yellow.

Gary,
Just a suggestion, try the New DT Trusoft. It comes in yellow and seems to be quite comparable to the ProV1X. I like it.
Does anyone else feel the same?

I asked for Titleist NXT Tour S balls for XMAS and my mother-in-law bought them for me, but she got yellow. I played them on a couple of holes and it was a matter of remembering that I was looking for a yellow ball once we got to the landing zone or green. I'm looking forward to playing more rounds with them though.
