    Hi Austin,

    I don't know if they make a new "+" prototype version every year, but Mike D posted the following 3 years ago.

    The golf balls have the same basic construction from the core, casing, cover and dimple pattern. The only minor difference is the Pro V1x+ has a slightly higher flight.

    Modifications to the Pro V1 were made to suit some tour players specific needs. I have seen + (plus) models and . (dot) models. Also have had the privilege of hitting them. The problem was that I didn't get to hit them on a launch monitor yet. Its all about the numbers!
