I loved that ball. Sadly, I doubt we'll see them produced again.

Just curious: Why would you want to resurrect a ball that is outperformed on every level by the Pro V1?
The Pro V1 is longer, straighter, more durable, and more responsive on short shots.
It's as close to the Professional as the Professional was to the Tour Balata.

I used to play the Balata 100 in high school and college, but my png Eye-2's with square grooves and those sticks would cut up the balata like an iron chef. I am really enjoying the durability, yet soft feel of the current Pro V1. I just acquired some Vokey wedges, and today I must have sucked one back 12 feet on the green. I have preferred the Pro V1 because I hit a pretty high shot, and I heard the Pro V1x produces even higher ball flight. But, after seeing the action, I may try the V1x and see how the lower spin performs for me.
