I currently play the Pro V1X. Way back I played the Titleist Professional. Any chance to resurrect this line of golf ball? Would love to play it again

I loved that ball.  Sadly, I doubt we'll see them produced again.

Those days are long gone. I played the Tour Balata 100, then switched to the professional 90 when they came out, also tried the Tour Prestige. As I recall the Professional was more durable than the balata, with firmer feel & lower spin, that's why I played the 90 compression. The original Pro V1 had the feel/durability of the professional with the spin of the Balata. Some players felt that the Pro V1 spun too much, thus the Pro V1x was born. When I first played the Pro V1 I was skeptical until I spun it off the green with my wedge. I hadn't done that since the Tour Balata! The truth is the Pro V1 just out performed all other Tour balls and I'm looking forward to the next generation Pro V1 update.

Just curious: Why would you want to resurrect a ball that is outperformed on every level by the Pro V1?

The Pro V1 is longer, straighter, more durable, and more responsive on short shots.

It's as close to the Professional as the Professional was to the Tour Balata.

I used to play the Balata 100 in high school and college, but my png Eye-2's with square grooves and those sticks would cut up the balata like an iron chef.  I am really enjoying the durability, yet soft feel of the current Pro V1.  I just acquired some Vokey wedges, and today I must have sucked one back 12 feet on the green.  I have preferred the Pro V1 because I hit a pretty high shot, and I heard the Pro V1x produces even higher ball flight.  But, after seeing the action, I may try the V1x and see how the lower spin performs for me.
