    Hi everyone –

We have had a fantastic year at Team Titleist and can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2016. But before we move forward, we want to reflect on all of the great memories from 2015. So we want to know …

What did you accomplish in 2015 with the Pro V1 or Pro V1x?

We can’t wait to read your responses, and we even may use some of them at the PGA Show in just a few weeks!

P.S. - We want to see your photos, too! Share a photo of your golf ball with your accomplishment below.

    Best,

Well this is easy for me..  I got my first hole-in-one late June playing in a member - guest. The ball was a ProV1 #1.

I was in great company at the time (Josh G. aka Hotsauce, Mike D. and Jonesy) and I still think about that shot and the boys jumping and cheering..  A feeling I'll never forget.

Needless to say this has probably been the best summer of golf I've ever played...   Hope I can make 2016 even better...

Thanks to Mike D. for the photos..

This was one of the best shots I've ever seen.  Chris is too modest to share, but I feel this feat needs to be put into context.

Like Speedy (aka Chris) said, we were playing in a Member 3 guest at Thomson CC.  The 4th is a tricky little hole.  The tee box is elevated and plays downhill to a large green with water on 3 sides.  The green slopes heavily from back to front and slightly from left to right.

That day, No. 4 was playing about 160 yards.  Mike, Jonesy and I all proceed to miss the green in horrific fashion.  I think we had 1 ball in play- long, with the pin in the way waaaaay back.  The chip shot we had may have well have been wearing a orange jumpsuit.  All of a sudden bogey seemed very real.

Chris steps on the tee, in the anchor position.  Did we support our last hope?  No.  We bombarded him with an avalanche of halfwitted comments "the green's wide open... no pressure... don't rinse it... we'll at least you won't be the only guy in the drink... etc".  Speedy calmly puts his peg in the ground, lines up the shot, and makes perfect contact.  After contact Speedy didn't even watch.  We had barely heard the beautiful squish and already Speedy turns around the the peanut gallery to lets us have it- I don't remember exactly what he said, but it was something along the lines of 'good thing you bums invited me!'  None of us said a word.

The ball sailed high, started right, and like your favorite pro tracer shot on a Sunday afternoon, slowly drew towards the hole.  Coming back to the left, dropping towards the pin, it looked good, really good, great even, could it be? The three misfits yell "GET IN!!" with timing that would make the best choir jealous.  The ball never left the flag.  One hop, suspended in air for a moment, and then gone.

We stood like statues, Speedy still looking at us and not his miracle, until the group on the neighboring green gave a holler "Is that an Ace?!?!"  We went bananas.  Jumping, yelling, hugging, and throwing hats like graduation.  I think Chris was the last guy who knew what he had done.  I don't think there's such a thing as a bad hole in one, but this one was perfect- with no room for an asterisk anywhere.  I'm so thankful I got to witness it, but honestly we were just as thankful we didn't have to hit that chip!

Won the Pro-Am Division of the Web.com Tour "Utah Championship".  The funnest part for me was playing and winning with Michael Kim who not only secured his PGA Tour Card....But games all the necessary Titleist equipment to help his dream come true!

I shot my first subpar round.  I've been under par for 9 but never 18.  Interestingly enough, I tee'd off the next morning and hit the same ball I shot 70 with out of bounds!  I didn't break par that day!  Pro V 1 X #3.

Shot my best score in a number of years.  Finally birdied my most hated hole in all of all golf--a short par 3 at my local course, bordering a lake where I tend to pull my shots.  (Many a Titleist from me are at the bottom of that lake.)  Stuck a 9 iron on what seemed like the world's narrowest green at 12 on TPC Las Vegas.

All was done with a Pro V1x.  I should say multiple Pro V1x's.  They don't stay in my possession as long as I would like.

Finally stuck this Par 3 at Arrowhead Golf Course in Spencerport. Pro V1 is my ball of choice.  Just love the way it feels coming off the club

I shot my age (twice) for the first time in 2015 using a Pro V1-x both times.  Just had a birthday, so this next year shooting my age should be easier!!!!

This a pretty easy one for me as well.

I hit my first (and probably only) Albatross with a ProV1 on the par 5 4th hole at Valley Hi CC. 192 yard 5 iron to a back right pin location. Landed just short and rolled up the green towards the pin. I was looking everywhere around the green until my playing partner looked in the hole and saw it. The ball now sits in a display on the mantle, bringing me some good luck.

Shot my best rounds ever this year after moving home coarses, new coarse is a tough track which makes it even more satisfying, also won the handicap singles championship and annual members golf day which is a big deal at our place. Really happy with this year, i credit the wins and better scoring to switching to a 915 d2 driver, finding fairways is a must at my coarse. Really looking forward to building from last year and improving as much as i can in the new year

This is a great question Abby and I've read a lot of great things so far.

As a few others have mentioned and accomplished, I also shot my first sub par round of golf this year. It was one of the best feelings and accomplishments. I've gotten close to doing it again several times, but as I continue to work on the game and use the best equipment out there, I know that I will be able to accomplish that more often in 2016.

Thanks Titleist for being so awesome and making great products!!

This was my first full season playing exclusively with the Pro V1x.  Like so many others on this thread, I had some of my best scoring rounds ever, including breaking par on 9 holes; three times.  It was the consistent distance control and spin/touch around the greens that made the biggest difference for me. Confidence is a big part of the game and the Pro V1x gave me an extra dose.

For me it was holing 3 60-70 yard shots this year. The game has really come together nicely and headed in the right direction. Putting has been awesome also. Pro V 1 is my ball of choice at this time. Might go to the new Trusoft after I purge my inventory. Thanks Abby for starting this , brings back some killer times this year.

With a little over 90 rounds in this season, there was really one round that took top honors. My wife and I took a nice anniversary vacation to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and played at the "Lake Hallie" course. We had never played there before but it was one of the courses we had reciprocity at from our local course, "Drugan's Castle Mound." I teed up my Pro V1X Titleist but had no expectations since we had never set foot on this course, but that quickly changed. Whether it was hitting my new 915 D2 driver or spinning my Vokey 56 degree wedge to within a couple feet of the cup, I could tell today was going to be something special. I birdied 4 of the first  5 holes with my Pro V1X and finished the first 9 with a 4 under 31. My wife said I was playing out of my mind! The second 9 proved to be a bit of a challenge, but I held on for a 3 over 38 for a   69 on the scorecard!!! Never before in my life had I broke 70! My new goal for 2016 is to continue my success with the ProV1X and try for that goal of a 68! Thank you Titleist!!

My biggest accomplishment with ProV1x was to get to a 9 handicap.

  26. This was my first year playing Titleist Pro-V1's. I shot my my first sub par round and several even rounds this year. I also lowered my handicap by 2 strokes. Never thought this ball would make a difference but yes it did, the rest was my fault. Hopefully next year will be even better as I now know how this ball performs for me, yardage,putting,chipping,etc..
