I just received two sleeves of evaluation balls. No markings on them, not even Titleist -- just a grey square on thee and a grey triangle on the other three. Can't want for the weather to get better to go out for a try. This ought to be fun.

    Thank you Titleist.

Very Interesting. One of the guys at our course got the same sleeves to try and I am envious. I have tested balls for Titleist in the past and guess I did not get selected this year. There are so many members of TT, I guess they need to spread it around each year. It is only fair. Fortunately those of us who live in warmer climates are able to provide quicker feedback. No snow, thank goodness. Enjoy the balls.

I have no Idea, wasn't fortunate enough to receive any this time around enjoy them . That's one thing I like about testing for Titleist if you don't know what you are hitting you came go into it with preconceived ideas of how the ball will or should react. Makes for a honest Blind Nill test.

I received the ball about 2 weeks ago, and even with the cool weather in Georgia I was able to give them a go, and complete the survey.
I really think Titleist players are going to love this new model.
    I know I do.

I just completed the survey describing my experience with he test balls with a blacked-in square and triangle. I've also seen photos of balls with open squares and triangles, but this is the first I've heard of test balls with grayed-in squares and triangles. Seems as if there may be at least three different constructions out for testing.

Which version did YOU prefer, of the two? And what ball do you usually play?

Which did you prefer, Ted? I didn't receive any this time around so I'm curious as to what your thoughts are.

I received the two sleeves with the black triangle and black square. Found the triangle marked ball had a great feel.

This is interesting regarding two different ways to mark the balls. The ones I received were rather faint squares and triangles. I wonder if the darker marking were just to make them easier to tell apart at some distance? There was no mention of different marking styles in the survey. An educated guess is that the triangle is the new ProV1 and the square is the ProV1x. Although I have been using the ProV1 for years, after testing I prefer the Square; which is why I would really like to know confirm what it is.
