I just finished completing my survey. Loved both balls but REALLY loved the square ball. It is dead straight and 8-12 yards carry longer than the ProV1 I currently play with. The triangle spins a bit more and is somewhat easier to fade or draw but I prefer the straight, longer square ball. Thought the two were pretty close in all other aspects. Am dying to know what the square ball is and if Titleist doesn't tell us I'm going to assume that the square ball is a 1x and the triangle is a ProV1. Last year I didn't notice so much difference between the test balls and the previous year's balls but not so this time. These balls are exceptional and both longer and have more feel with negligible wear after 18 holes.

I played both Square and Triangle balls sent to me in the mail and I found them to be awesome golf balls. I thought they were longer then the prov's I normally play. I found the Triangle to have to much spin on the ball hitting the greens. The Square was great ball and I would play with it anytime. I know this sounds funny but I found, I made more putts... the feel was perfect. ...would love to know what kind they are?

Are these the black or the gray square and the triangle balls?

I ask because I am testing the black versions and I'm having a completely different experience. I don't think that either the black square or black triangle spin nearly as much as current Pro V1s with short irons including chipping. Also, the square seems to spin more than the triangle to me. Both seem a little longer than Pro V1s with long irons (I've only played shorter executive courses so no driver shots yet) but I hesitate to make that conclusion because I'm not sure if it's due to better ball striking.

As an 8 handicap, I suspect that I may not be good enough to properly evaluate these balls. I don't really find a material difference between the black square or black triangle, but they both seem much different than the current Pro V1/x.

I tested both the square and triangle this week and found both very similar distance wise. The square felt a little softer to me especially around the greens

I tested the triangle ball today and loved it. I play the Prov1x but this ball is about 5 Yards longer. Plus i was able to spin the ball on the greens. Off the putter it felt great and rolled really good.
