  1. I'm a golfer with 70 MPH Iron swing speed and i currently play the Pro V1. Short game is my strength and i need right tools for that, including balls. I was hoping to get higher ball flight by changing the ball i play. I've heard that Pro V1x get you higher ball flight, but does it make much difference? And does it affect my short game? And does it make my shot distance (including rolls) shorter?? I understand that i can obviously just try it out myself but i would love to hear from you guys??

  2. The prov1 and th prov1x doesn't have a big difference. I think they react pretty similar to each other in the greens. I play the prov1x because I think they have just a little higher ball flight.
  3. I play pro v1x and used to play pro v1 and I don't notice any difference in th short game except to the pro v1 has a tad softer feel but they react almost exactly the same on the greens. The pro v1x does give you a little higher ball flight so theoretically you should gain a little distance. The longer the ball is in the air, the longer the carry, and the longer carry means more distance. I would suggest trying the pro v1x.

My driver swing speed is around 81-83 mph and I like the ProV1x because it gives me a little longer distance and the spin rate is great for my short game.

I've played both the ProV1 and ProV1x. They produce about the same distance off the tee for me. My short game seems to be better with the ProV1. I like its feel better on chips and pitches. I have more confidence and putt better with the ProV1.

My swing speed is 75 and I couldn't say it any better than Terry S.
