  1. I was interested to read the story about the origin if the logo script and this prompted me to send this true story. My brother in law (a non golfer) was visiting the field of the Battle of Waterloo where he does a lot of work on the history of the battle, especially the Hougoumont Farm restoration. on one visit he trod on something hard and guessed it was an old piece of small cannon shot. After digging it out of the mud he found it to be white, dimpled and bearing the logo 'Titlaist' 4, DT Solo. He tells me it is unlikely to have belonged to the Duke of Wellington or any other soldier, but now it sits on my desk at home. I promise you it will never (again?) be struck by a golf club.
