Just finished playing 2 rounds with the new Pro V1 test ball. The first round was played on a 65 degree day with wind gusts around 10 mph, I found it bored through the air with without a significant loss of distance. I found it traveled a little farther in calm and down wind. The ball had a soft feel reacted very well on chips and sand shots. I played on very firm and fast greens at Westchester Country Club . The ball putted very well. It was hard to hold a lot of the greens due to weather conditions, but overall I would still give it an A,
The second round was played after a little rain with cooler temps , high 50's, with calm wind on the front 9 and gusty winds on the back 9. The ball was very consistent on both 9's. It held the softer greens very well, reacted very well on the softer slower greens and out of the wet bunkers. It lost a few yards in the cooler temps but it went a little farther than the regular Pro V 1. Over all I was very satisfied with the test ball. My swing speed is in the mid-90's, I am 65 years old and have a 6 handicap, I rate this ball an A and highly recommend it .
