hi - I have gone the other way. Pro V1X to Pro V1. There was no particular science for me. I tried both and for some reason the Pro V1 just seemed a bit better.

Based on what I have heard it has been the other way around. X players are switching to the 2017 V.

Chuck, that's what I have heard as well. Just wondering if any went the other way. I try not to mess with trying new balls but was very curious.

I did this with the old version and from what I've read I plan on sticking to the X with the new generation. I prefer the higher ball flight I get with the X over the V. You can't go wrong with either version.

I went from the X to the V1 also!! My fitter put me on a Trackman and my launch and spin was better along with the V1 being just as long as the X and feels better!!

The V1 was a lower launch and hit our window we were looking for along with better roll out!! The V1 also feels better to me off the putter also!!

I believe I'll be switching as well. The new ProV1x test ball had more spin then previous models. I will try the new ProV1 this weekend to see if that's the ball for me for the next two years.

Yea, the jury is still out on me, I am going to go play a few rounds this weekend. Going to put the V1x through some more paces before making the switch. I am always hesitate to switch from the V1 as it has always been great!

I've been playing the x for a while and like the new one so far, I actually like that it has more spin. I'll try the v as soon as the rain goes away

I'm switching from X to Y. It fits my game. The best part with this release is there are obvious differences from the last release and choices need to be made.

Don I am in the same boat. I love the Pro V1 especially when it comes to putting and chipping around the greens. I received a sleeve of the test balls & fell in love with the new Pro V1x. This upcoming golf season I am definitely playing the new Pro V1x! I must say Titleist has out done themselves with the new Pro V's!!!!

A devoted ProV1x player for many years, I've played the new X & V side by side my last 3 rounds, I must say the ProV1 has found its way into my bag.

Update: Played 3 rounds this weekend, 2 with the 1X and last one with the V. While both ball feel great, I am staying with the V. The feel and ball flight fit better with me. Plus its what I know. Played better with the V as well.

I was a 2015 V player last year and late in the season I switched to the X. While the 2015 X launched higher, it still gave me distance off the tee with lower spin and great greenside spin and control. This year I went out and tested indoors and on course the 2017 V and X and noticed the spin on the X was a touch higher on high lofted clubs. The greatest awesome difference I saw was faster ball speeds across the board, spin rates down on long clubs, and spun & scratched on greens more with high lofted clubs. These puppies dropped and stopped! Sticking with the X as I'm experiencing a dramatic difference in my game.

Also will be switching X to V - only question I have now is what to do with all those old Xs :) can't wait for the season to start.
