    I recently purchased a dozen of the Titleist Pro V1x practice balls but the ball is actually labeled Pro V1x +. I have looked all over the internet and cant find out what this means if anyone knows please reply to this posting.

    Apparently there are prototypes tested, and get labeled with +/- symbols so they can be used as conforming balls in competition. There won't be any information in how they differ from the production X balls.

    Aren't these tour balls? So like Don O suggested they're prototypes that have been given to the pros.
