Fake Fujikura F3? Input Welcomed!

    Recently I invested in what I thought was an authentic Fujikura Motore F3 shaft (regular flex) for my 17 degree 910F. After careful inspection of the item, I have a few concerns that are leading me to assume this may be a fake Fujikura:

    1. There is not a "Certified Authentic" Titleist sticker located near the grip of the shaft.

    2. The bar code sticker has not been placed directly on the shaft, instead it remains on the original backing paper and has been taped to the shaft.

    3. The "60/R Flex" image on the shaft is slightly raised while the remaining images are not.

    If there are any insights that Titleist can provide me - or Team Titleist Members - it would be greatly appreciated at this time.

    If you purchased it from an authorized Titleist retailer, you may want to check with them as this number does not appear in our database.  We do sell all shafts that have passed our shaft testing protocols and have been approved for consumer sale by the shaft companies.  The shaft will come with a surefit adaptor and a surefit bezel weight.  If you would like some recommendations for authorized pro shops in your area, please give us a call at Team Titleist 1-888-TITLEIST.

    As always, tremendous thanks for your swift/helpful response! I did not purchase the shaft from an authorized Titleist retailer, instead an individual I know from my local golf shop. He has tried to explain to me that the shaft was a special order which is why it did not feature the "Certified Authentic" sticker.

    I plan to return this shaft ASAP after hearing you could not find the item in your database.

    Have you hit it yet? I hate the fakes as much as the next guy, But try it first, It could be the best shaft you ever had.
