Follow the link and register your driver. If the serial number is not a authentic Titleist product I believe their system doesn't register it.

I see these posts from time to time and I don't understand. Where are these people buying these clubs from if there is doubt of the authenticity? When you buy brand name golf equipment you buy from an authorized dealer so that you have peace of mind and recourse if there are any problems.

Frank thats the problem they are not buying it from a authorized dealer they are buying price..if a new TS driver is $500 from a authorized dealer...but you see you can get it from some other place for$250 they are going to buy it..you see it all the time like they say if the price sounds to good the product is probably a fake..
  6. They might buy used ones too so that might be one reason.
  7. As others have said, check with Titleist first.

I remembering hearing this years ago that when a company introduces a new club, it could be found on the secondary market (fakes) in a day. To the regular guy you would not notice a difference, but a club junkie would and you would notice rust after a few uses. If the price is too good to pass up, you better pass.

Titleist only tracks the serial numbers after you register it. Many people fail to do this so there is no complete registration data-bank for clubs against serial numbers. Counterfeiters will copy serial numbers anyway so its not a reliable method. If you buy from a second-hand source, the authenticity will always only be as good as the source from where you purchase. If the ball flies long and straight, it must be real. :)
  9. I registered my TS1 driver with Titleist. Not sure if the driver is counterfeit. How can I tell?

If you bought it new from a brick and mortar store (Carl's Golfland, Dick's, etc) or it was dropped shipped from Carlsbad through an authorized dealer, it will be authentic.
  11. I just registered my TS2 driver head that I purchased and it shows its a 907D. Now I'm really worried. I can return it but don't know what to think of this. Waiting to get a reply email from titleist.
  12. Hi, just curious if you heard back on this as I bought my Driver second hand from a reputable golf company and when I went to check the serial number I also got a 917D stiff shaft as the driver registered. Thanks
  13. my brand new TSi3 shipped directly from Titleist and product registration show the serial number as a 915 D2. First club bought from Titleist. Might be the last.

You should contact customer service. If you bought either direct from Titleist or a brick and mortar store and the shipping label was from the Titleist address in Carlsbad, CA, it will be authentic. If through an online site, Titleist will want to investigate.

I had a similar experience ... brand new TS2 hybrid shipped directly from Titleist; went to register and it showed up as a 915 hybrid w/ very similar, although not exact specs. I contacted C.S. via email and they verified my serial number in the system with the exact specs of the TS2 I ordered. So, my "guess" is that they re-use serial numbers from older generations and the online registration system still replies with the order model details.
