Just my opinion, they don't look like genuine Titleist irons.

The AP2 logo looks large, the main Titleist script doesn't look straight, the "6" in 716 and number spacing doesn't look correct. The serial numbers I have seen have been engraved in the metal hosel, that's the first I've seen in the ferrule.

It's hard to tell with the pics but best of luck resolving it.
  3. Hi Mohamed - I have just checked my title it’s ap2 716 irons for serial numbers. I bought mine direct from titleist so am happy they are real. The serial number is etched into the steel of the hosel of the 6 iron. I know someone else who’s serial number is in a different place and I know their clubs are real. Apart from the different serial numbers your irons do look very similar to mine and if they are fake they are awfully close. It’s a shame so many fakes exist, it’s a real problem nowadays. I have downloaded a pic below for your comparison purposes. Hope this helps, andy

  4. Hi everyone.
I just checked my irons and I have a set of AP1 716 including a 6-W and only the 6 irons has a serial number etched to it.
Maybe they only etched the serials to one club in some of the models?

  5. My understanding is that the only 6 iron that is stamped, plus any other clubs outside of the iron set that you order at the same time. I bought my C16 irons a few years ago and also bought a driver, 3 wood and SM6 wedge with my irons. They all have the same serial number, apart from the woods being 1 digit less.
