  1. I used to play with a 50, 54 and 58 wedges, now with the gap wedge of 48 deg Im not sure on what I shoud use.

My T200 is 48*. I hit it about as far as my old 46* AP2-716 PW on a full swing, but on 3/4 swings I have no problem dialing it back to what I used to hit my SM7 50*. So I removed the 50 and now play 48*, 54*, 58, and at times a 62* when conditions around the green warrant it (I have to remove my 4i or hybrid to do so in-season). I admit there is a slight gap, but so far, after at least 60 rounds with the new T200s, I doubt it has cost me a stroke due to that small gap. I find ways around it.

FWIW, when I got fit for my T200s, the Titleist fitter suggested I go 48/54/58 or 48/52/58. Since I use my 54 for many different type shots around the green as well as from the bunker, same as I do my 58, I didn't think a 52 would work as well for my specific game. The 54 and 58 give me the heavier D5 swing weight I like in those two versatile-use wedges. A 52* has a D3 swing weight. Just something to consider. (Of course you could have the sw changed to whatever you like, if you want.)

My new SM8s are on order. Waiting impatiently.

I am in the process of switching to the t-200s as well. I haven’t come to any conclusions yet, but I think b/c the face of the 48 deg t-200 wedge is so “hot” relative to the Vokey, that I’ll have a 50 deg vokey bent to 51 and 54 deg to 55. I’m giving up that last high lofted wedge as I’ve learned how to use the bounce a lot better.

I have the T300's also. After the gap wedge I carry Vokey 52, 56, and 60 wedges...

This is a tricky one, most would play a gap wedge from a Vokey/wedge set instead of following the iron set.

You could go with a 52°, 56° and 60° which would be x2 specialist wedges and x2 iron set P and GW wedges or 48GW to a 54° then up to a 60° and add an additional club further down the set like a driving iron or hybrid.

Any thoughts to dropping the 48 and going 46, 50, 56?
  7. I used to have the same setup. Now that I have a 43* PW, went to 48* gap, 54* bent to 53* SW and still have the 58 LW. Gapping remains consistent.
  8. Does anyone know what the bounce is on the 48 and 53 wedges in the T300 set? Thank you.
  9. Am trying find out same thing

I have a similar dilemma w a 48* gap on the T100s. I just took out the 50* and left the 56 and 60 in the bag. I know what to expect from those wedges.

If you already have the 50°, 54° and 58° wedges at hand, why not find out your distances between the 48° and the 50° and see what yardage difference it gets you on your stock shots.

Knowing the gap distance (whatever it may be) between those two you already have can sometimes be confidence enough that enables you to use what you already have and are used to.
