  1. Looking to get a higher loft on my 3 Wood. What loft degree do you recommend?

I have TS2 fairways in both lofts. Have been playing the 15-degree all winter, but will probably move to the 16.5 as my swing speed slows down with age.

I’ve completely dropped my 15 degree and have gone with an 18 degree. As my playing time has decreased I noticed I was only comfortable with the 15 degree off the tee. I’m much more comfortable with the 18 from the fairway or rough.

Each loft of club can be decreased by 0.75 degree or increased by 1.5 degree by adjusting the Sure-Fit Hosel. The 15 degree can be 14.25 (to 15.75) to 16.5 degrees. The other factory lofts are 13.5/16.5/18/21 (unless LH). Besides the loft change, the face closes with the potential to increase draw when increasing loft. Since it can be quickly adjusted, it is easy to find the hosel setting that works best for you. With a Titleist wrench and the hosel settings are available under drivers/fairways on this site, have fun.
  5. The easy answer is the difference between 15 degrees and 16.5 is one and a half degrees. For me at lease the 1 and a half degrees is significant. On average I hit the 16.5 further than the 15. On occasion, really good hits, go further with the 15, but not on average.

  6. The shaft could factor more than loft, not just softer/lighter, but the lower the kickpoint the higher the trajectory. Within the titleist line try the kurokage shaft against the evenflow white using the same loft of head and you will see what I mean.

I've got a 13.5 and 16.5. The 16.5 is better from the fairway. Both are great off the tee.

Mine is set at 17. With the tight Bermuda fairways here in Florida, it makes a big difference.

    I seem to hit a 17 much better than a 15. I keep a 913Fd 13.5 handy when I don't feel like using a driver.

The 16.5 plays more like a 4 wood, I recently switched from a 3 wood/5 wood combo to a 4 wood and 3 Hybrid combo, happy with the results so far. Got the TS2 4 wood and 816 H1 3 hybrid and love both. The 4 wood is great from the turf and off the tee.
