  1. Is it too soon to start longing for intel on new Titleist driver? We normally start getting unofficial 1st looks in pros’ bags around June (even years)... different expectations this year due to COVID??

Im thinking everything would be pushed back to god knows when...

But tbh, im VERY content with the TS3. Matter of fact, ive never been happier with a driver. I have had zero urge to play anything else. Or even look at anything else.

Hopefully we do see something in June tho.. always exciting news when Titleist is releasing anything.

I have the 915 D4 driver and I absolutely love it. I don't plan on upgrading from it for a while, when I find a driver I like I tend to stick with it. I would agree with Nick though that new releases and such will probably be pushed back for a while. At this point just hoping next year is a good bounce back year.

If today is any indication, a bounce back looks likely. The state I live in opened courses on Thurs and today (47 degrees with 25 MPH winds) the course is packed.
  6. Still have the 910, so with age, my needs are changing. Even though I hit it pretty straight or with a slight draw, the distance is no longer there. The current TS drivers are on sale, so may be a good time to upgrade. At 65, don't think I need a stiff shaft any longer.

The TS drivers are a fundamental change from the 910-913-915 drivers. With a 10 year old driver and an age qualifying for senior citizen, you really need to get fit to take advantage of the lower TS prices from now until the new release. There will be far more improvement from 910 to TS than likely will occur with the "son of TS' release from the current TS. You need to get fit. They will find a head and shaft combination to best match to your current swing. If you can find a Titleist Thursday that you can reach, the fitting is free and the shaft selections are greater than the average small pro shop or box store.

Yep, next generation's biggest change might be antimicrobial grips. :)

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind, you will gain at least a few yards if not more from the new TS line compared to the 910. And if you dont gain any yardage, at least you will gain much more forgiveness with the new TS heads.

Heck ifyou want, you can always re-use your old 910 shaft and just utilize a new TS head.

I think it’s going to be hard to see noticeable gain against the t series drivers. They are hot out of the middle and very forgiving. Only thing I can see improving is aerodynamics for increased speed/distance

Love my TS2 it was giving me great confidence on the tee to stand up and smash it down the fairway......so I’m in no hurry to change, just hope that confidence is still there when we eventually get back.
