718 Ap1 shaft change Question

    I just switched my shafts from a steel AMT red regular shaft to a Recoil ES 780 F4 graphite shaft. The club builder that switch them said that the shaft is to light for the club head. He put a weight in the shaft and has used lead tape to try and get the swing weight back to D1 or D2 but it will only equal to around a C-9 to D-0 which after playing today seems to light. Is there anyway I could get a heavier weight in the shaft or a light AP1 head or am I out of luck and need to switch to another shaft?

    Adding tip weights should allow you to get to your desired swing weight- a lighter grip will also help- 5 grams less gives 1 swing weight. A lighter head decreases awing weight so you would need to go heavier- 2 grams equals on swing weight.
