A friend brought along a DCI 2 iron he had found in his garage to a range session.

The grip was totally slippery and long dead but that didnt put me off hitting a few balls with it. I was very surprised at just how good it was. Far less forgiving than the u500 but not a long way off distance wise but the sensation of the ball fying off the face was superb.

Does anyone have any information as to when when this particular model was launched. The number stamped looks like 0698 would that be its build date?
