Best results will be achieved by attending a professional fitting. Depending on where you are in Florida, there are several Titleist fitting Thursdays coming up. Feb 18 and 25th at Raptor Bay in Bonita if you're in the area. You simply sign up on the website. Jon Dal Santo is a great fitter.

Wait for the TSI1 to come out in a few weeks, then go get fit and compare it with the TSI2. Whichever gives you the better numbers with the fitters recommendation, go with that. Getting fit is a great deal of fun and very educational. Look up a Titleist Thursday event in your area. Good luck!

It's impossible for anyone to recommend a head/shaft combo without any knowledge of your swing. If you are serious about moving to a Titleist driver, then the best advice I can give is to find a Titleist fitter near you and schedule a fitting. Another option would be to schedule a quick tune-up lesson with an instructor at your course and see if that helps, it would be less expensive than purchasing a new driver.

I don't want to assume anything about your swing capabilities. If your clubhead speed is under 86, then getting fit for a TS-1 (TSi-1 coming soon) would be likely. For 86-95, it could be either a TS/TSi 1 or 2. Using a fitter with electronic gear like a Trackman, the fitter can determine the dynamic log (club loft and your angle of attack) and get an appropriate loft with a shaft that will get close to a suitable spin number. The 105 mph driver head speeds are looking for close to 2000 rpms while my 85 mph gains distance when the 2400+ rpm range.

I don't really understand a lot what I just wrote - I rely on my fitter to get me fit to the ideal numbers for my swing. Titleist doesn't offer a "women's line" beyond a shorter shaft and a lighter swing weight. Starting golf after getting my AARP card, I hated being pigeon-holed to the only LH "senior set" in the corner. Much like the "women's sets" in pastel colors. Serious golfers regardless of skill, need to be fit to them.

With the PGA tour and the PGA Show hitting stride this month, Titleist Thursdays may not be available in your area. Great fitters, good shaft selections and no direct cost to you if you can schedule one. My next recommendation would be a Premier fitting site if there is one within 100 miles of you.
  6. Agree with fitting idea. And if the TSi1 will be out soon, maybe wait until it's available as part of a fitting. The TSi's are great drivers, but getting fit is very important to achieve maximum benefit. And, I jave a hunch you will love whichever TSi is best for you. Good luck.

Agree with everyone's thoughts regarding the importance of a fitting. Great advice & the fittings are fun and educational.
Let us know what you get - I'd be curious as my wife currently hits Cobra's and I am pushing to switch her to all Titleist this season. Do you play cally Irons right now? Are you just doing the driver or the entire set-up?

    All the best!

If you can't arrange for a fitting, see if your local shop will let you demo some at a driving range. Even if you get an indoor fitting, try to demo your best 2 or 3 outdoors at a driving range. Then go but a Titleist.

If you do not get fit, I recommend the TSi2. The club is amazing!
