  1. Hi all

Will a dent like this in my Driver head have any effect on distance or is it only self-esteem that will have damage going forward?

OUCH!. Should not affect distance, but just knowing that it is there...
  3. Looks like a significant dent and pretty close to the weld. I believe I've read this may be a warranty claim potentially. I also believe Titleist reviews every post before allowing it to go live on this forum so would hope someone would chime in from the company to help you out. I know for me.....no way I could play with that knowing. Would bother me constantly.

I am not a Titleist employee but I am pretty sure that warranty covers defects in workmanship, not damage that occurs from an accident. Also, the forum is probably not as reliable for customer service questions as would be the customer service contacts listed at the bottom of the website.
  5. Thank you replying and I hope you are right about that it could be a warranty case

I said it would not be a warranty case since it was not a defect. It was damaged by you in an accident.

Here is the warranty policy on clubs:

Acushnet Company warrants its Titleist products for a period of one year from the date of purchase against "defects in materials or workmanship". Should your Titleist product fail to perform for either of the above reasons, we will at our option, repair it or replace it with an equivalent product at no charge. To obtain the benefits of this warranty, please contact your local golf shop to set up a Return Authorization. If you need assistance locating a shop in your area, please visit the Titleist Golf Shop Locator. Enclose the original receipt along with an explanation of the defect in writing. We ask that all parts of the product be returned to the repair department and that the product remain in original factory condition. Warranty claims presented without the original sales slip will be reviewed at our sole discretion. Acushnet Company reserves the right to inspect all warranty claims to determine the extent of warranty applications. All products returned for warranty claims become the property of Acushnet Company.

Acushnet Company will not be liable for any consequential or other "damages arising from the use of this product" or any delay in the performance of this warranty due to causes beyond the company’s control. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Cleaning and Care for Titleist Golf Clubs
Titleist drivers, woods, hybrids, irons and wedges can be cleaned with mild soap and water and then dried with a soft cotton cloth. We recommend your golf clubs and headcover be completely dry before storage. Storing golf clubs in wet headcovers can lead to rust and corrosion and may not be covered by the warranty.

Contact Titleist Golf Clubs Warranty and Repairs
The Titleist Golf Clubs Warranty and Repairs Department may be reached at 800-742-7609.

Inquiring minds want to know...what caused the dent?
  9. Tee'd it up too close to a tee box marker and hit it after I hit the ball

    That is unfortunate my friend
  11. I don't think this qualifies for warranty repair. I had a 913D that i hit the overhead heater at a driving range, big dime size dent in toe, it still performed fine for me
