Just curious why this is happening to all my fairway metals. I keep my clubs clean. It's like an imperfection in the metal. Any ideas?

This is primarily from hitting balls with grains of sand on them. If you play and/or practice on sandy soil, it's near impossible to avoid. Your only defense is lift, clean, and place.

My TSI metal woods look exactly the same. I play primarily on sandy soil and fairways. It’s unavoidable and has nothing to do with the quality of the club or metal. I consider them battle scars!

Yep. Sand or dirt on the ball.
