I'm trying to get a price on a new set of T200 irons and my local PGA SuperStore has been less than helpful. Not happy with them at the moment. Here's what I'm looking for:

I want a set of T200s, Black is preferable to the Chrome ones, 4-GW, with Kuro Kage TiNi 85g R-Flex shafts, GolfPride MCC Plus4 Standard grips. And I need the Lie angles to be 2 degrees Flat, Loft angles are to be standard.

Where do I get them, What will they cost, and How long to get them?

    Thank you,

    John Lucas

  2. $1,480 per Carl's web page. You can custom build them right there exactly how you want them. Don't ask about delivery times as I'm not an employee or rep. Just visit the store often as it's down the road from my house.

  3. Try Fairway Jockey. Custom club builder out of ARIZONA. You can spec out your clubs and if you recently had a fitting upload your specs for 10 percent off.

I am getting ready to purchase some T300s through them.

You can also check with local pro shops. Retailers are bound by the MSRP but pro shops have a little more latitude. Where I play and where I get fitted both offer me a net price under the MSRP. Chances are better if they know you. They are also more than willing to carefully place the order to your exact specs.

The shaft is a N/C shaft, the grips will be quoted as an 8-10 dollar up charge over stock Tour Velvet. The pro shop will be more willing to check when placing the order whether the delivery will be delayed by either the heads being chrome or black. My experience with the largest sports retailer is the stores send the order to corporate so no one in the store knows the status or even much cares.

The list price for graphite is $187.50 + $ 10 per club for comparison.

I have also ordered custom clubs drop shipped through Discount Dan’s website. You have to call them to order and they can quote you an actual price. As it is based in a brick and mortar pro shop in Oregon, they are an authorized dealer. Please check reviews for them. I am not connected, only sharing my personal experience. Like a local pro shop, the folks placing the order are who you can f/u with.
