Has anyone heard or seen anything about new irons coming out?

I have managed to secure a fitting at the end of July, however if there is new irons being released a few months after that, it may just be worth waiting, as I believe wait times for clubs are around 5-7 weeks.

Speculation based on prior years, the T100, T200, T300, and the 620 irons should be due to order by October. The T100S, T400, and limited release black versions were released at a later time than the Fall 2019 original release. The fitters may have fitting clubs in September.

The new irons should start to appear on the pro tour in July.

Email received today from Titleist Uk&I confirms progress and does include a T100s (extract below) hopefully get to try them soon

New Titleist T100, T100•S, T200, and U•505 irons are now being validated by the world's best players.

Validating product performance across the worldwide professional tours is a critical step in the development of all high-performance Titleist golf equipment. Based on initial testing and feedback, the new lineup is poised to continue Titleist's long run as the most played irons on the PGA TOUR.
  4. I read the release would be in fall.
There is NO WAY I would get fitted before these get released.
Your call but I bet you’d regret it big time!

I see the images of the new T100, T100-S, and T200 irons, where are the T300 irons?

The announcement was tour seeding. With the advent of the AP3/T200, AP1/T300 is fully focused on the amateur, a.k.a. game improvement market. Expect that an updated T300 will be released to the public around the same time as the T100/100s/200 versions. T400 was released after a year and may not be upgraded at the same time.

Hey Don O, I see that Garrick Higgo is getting his test set. Another "lefty" to keep them producing quality from that opposite side of the fairway you like to play from. :)
  8. I am highly upset as i just received my T100-S order and the retailer and Titleist never mentioned anything about the "S" line being updated as these just came out a year ago.....i would have waited for the update and now im stuck with the $1000 spend.....im upset because i asked this specific qquestion about the line and was told by Titleist customer service and Carls Golf land the "S" line would remain the same.

    Hey Tim,

I totally get where you are coming from. I'm the same way and love having the newest golf equipment. My buddies think I'm crazy for that, but I enjoy it.

They just started tour seeding them, so it'll be a while before they get released to the public. They usually release products in the fall. Since you just got yours and IF the retailer told you (if they had known) that there would have been a new iron coming out, would you have waited?

I'm not sure when you ordered your irons, but I'm guessing a couple of months ago because you stated that you just received yours and most orders have been taking a couple of months to get. So would you have waited at least another 6-8 months to get new irons if someone had told you about them?

Your T100S irons are still awesome and I'm sure they will perform just the same as the new ones. It's a new cosmetic change, but if you really want to wait for the news ones, I bet you could list and sell the set that you just got because everyone is waiting so long to get new clubs, someone out there is willing to take those off your hands. Just an idea.

I would have definitely waited because I have played the 712 CB for years and finally wanted to splurge for a new set. I was comfortable with my 712's, so waiting another few months would not have been a bg deal to me.

My order took exactly 6 weeks from order to delivery. I had to make a grip change to get them so fast, but that was no big deal, so all and all its been 9 weeks total since i ordered and received my clubs

I asked the question specifically to CGL and Titleist and was given the same answer. No update for the "S" line and the "2 year cycle" was given as the reason why......so, i find it hard to believe nobody knew.....maybe CGL because they had outdated info on all the lead times and delays, but Titleist knew. I just feel hoodwinked because someone could have stated " we are seeding new T100-S" or it could have been a lot more generic as in "why dont you wait a few months to see what happens"......maybe an NDA was in place but that generic comment could have kept a lifetime Titleist players happy.....but now I just want to move an from this brand.....i play Titleist everything...driver, hybrid, ball bag, irons.....always have.......I like my irons but always loved the 712 AP2, which these resemble quite a bit..... Im just disappointed because i normally do not make expensive purchase like this for golf, so i upgrade clubs every 8-10 years....i buy balls and hats and bags but nothing crazy......i finally pull the trigger and have all my ducks in a row and BAM.....2 weeks after i get my irons, they release these.....i almost feel like Titleist didnt tell anyone who called so they could deplete their inventory of older T100 heads.....
  11. I have to agree with someone has to know instead of a stock answer "It's always a 2 year cycle" Someone somewhere has to know but it is so hard to pass that information to the consumer? Seems it is. Had the exact same situation, ask about a certain set of clubs, get told " we are not sure. normally they are on a 2 year cycle" Less than 2 months later, that set is actually introduced. Cannot tell me no one knew 2 months previous? It is not only Titleist, every manufaturer does the same, in the mean time the consumer gets the short end of the stick. Spend a ton of money, then a month or 2 later the clubs you actually wanted are available.
  12. I get the feeling blindsided by this, but here is the thing, as someone in the industry and privy to "launch dates" i can tell you from experience these companies, not just Titleist are extremely protective of leaking info. The reps are not even fully in the loop. Many companies stick to an annual launch, while Titleist is on a 2 year cycle. Even though they started tour seeding, pre-orders wont even be available until august and the launch is expected in september. With regards to the T100s iron that was a late arrival on the last go round and may still launch after the non "s" line, but since they are showing them, my guess is they will be ready at launch. Even with a pre-order or waiting until after the launch to test them, if current lead times stay true its likely they would arrive mid/late October. So being upset that a new club would be in hand 4 months later (and 5.5 months after you placed your original order) with a 24 month life cycle isnt exactly pulling a fast one. The T100s you have are a gorgeous iron and plays beautifully. You will likely have them for several years (while seeing new irons come and go) however, as already mentioned you can sell them (quite quickly i am sure) and hold out for the next release. But by no means should you feel swindled into your current clubs, tee it up and enjoy.
  13. Wait time in Quebec is currently 10-12 weeks for irons (T300) if they need lengthening

The new irons look awesome!! I'm like my current set of T100 irons, but the new ones have an even more sleek look to them.

    Can't wait until they arrive.
  15. I find it interesting that the impact core technology was removed and that they went back to a more simple hollow head design.

I like the look of the new irons, but not a fan of the U505 series. The 718 T-MB was the best looking iron ever made by Titleist in that category imo. I would love to see them go back to this type of design in the utility.
  16. When will the newest t300 and t400 irons be available? Will there be a t300 strong?

T300 is already 43 degree PW.
