  1. Why do all Titleist iron come with AMT shafts? They are really good, but I was wondering why?

True Temper AMT (essentially a Dynamic Gold) has been a long time favorite of many players. They have a version to fit most golfers, and they are easy to fit based on the type of player. But, ultimately, "stock offerings" often come down to a financial agreement. A club company makes a significant commitment, and they get them a little cheaper from the manufacturer. You can always special order a Titleist club with virtually any shaft you prefer at an additional cost.

Every club manufacturer selects a stock brand, the TT AMT shafts are what Titleist has selected as their stock shaft brand. If you want a different brand of shaft, then work with a fitter to find a brand with a specific shaft that fits your swing.

The True Temper AMT shaft having the Red, White and Black models being of different weights gives Titleist a great variety, and with many other shafts being available they can properly fit all golfers. Unlike the Dynamic Gold (.355 tapered tip) which is a constant weight shaft, the AMT shafts increase in weight (3 grams) from the 4 iron to the wedge in the White and Black models in the Red Model the weight increase starts with the 8 iron shaft.
