  1. What's up Team Titleist!!

I'm a beginner golfer and can't express enough how in love I am with Titleist clubs. I found an old 804 OS 6 iron and love using it. I was wondering what is the best iron set to buy for a left handed beginner like myself? I'm wondering if I get the rest of the irons that I have, will it be a good set to start. Please advise. Thanks in advance!!

Of course, budget might have a lot to do with your decision. A full set of clubs can be a big investment. If you have a big budget, you should see a fitter and get a new set that he/she fits to your swing. Many beginners still have different swings and we all are different sizes so a set fit to you physically is always best. If on a tighter budget, you might start with a used set of older AP1 or first gen T300. A set as old as 804's or DCI's might begin to have issues with old epoxy keeping the heads in place. You should also consider using some of your budget for lessons from a good PGA teaching pro. Getting the right fundamentals will ensure that you do not spend years fighting swing flaws that shorten your improvement and enjoyment of the game. Welcome to this wonderful game and the TT family. Our hope for you is a lifetime of success and enjoyment.
  3. thanks for the wonderful feedback. I am indeed on a tighter budget so I'm just eager to get my hand on a Titleist family set and start playing. Its a beautiful game. I certainly plan to get lessons being that I also work on a golf course :). Do you know if the Titleist family will have any events in Texas?

Follow the Team Titleist Texas group on Facebook. They are very active and have a couple of events each year.
