So I’m 2 weeks in with my new Tsr2. 3 rounds and 2 range sessions with it. Im not seeing as much gains as most. Coming from another driver released in 2021. 10.5 degree stock tour 75 gram shaft. Was fit at golf galaxy for my Tsr at 11 degree D2 w/ Graphite Design ub6s shaft. Swing speed is around 100-102. Driver has always been one of my best clubs to hit. Driver looks feels and sounds better than any other I’ve played. My first Titleist and that’s all that’s in my bag now. I’m new to the club but want be leaving any time soon! Maybe I need to get my set up checked by another fitter but I done spent the 799 now so idk if it will matter. Anyone else want to share their gains or fitting experience.

You should be able to read a bunch of reviews under the heading category of Golf Clubs more than you will find in this Gear section. Naturally, the people with the biggest gains would be those coming from a significantly older models or people who were not previously custom fit. Those who already had a newer club that was fine-tuned to them would likely only see smaller improvements in distance or accuracy. That said, every little bit helps. As for the quality of the fitting, I know that like doctors and any other professional, the quality of a fitting is somewhat subject to the variability of the competency of the fitter. Location and cost can certainly play a factor in where you get fit and a so-so fitting is probably better than someone guessing and just buying off the shelf. If you still have your old driver you might mess around with switching to the old shaft and see how it reacts. Again, don't expect drastic differences since you probably had a good fit already. Hope this helps. Good luck with it.

Coming from the TSi3 9* A1 with Ventus Blue TR 6X 45", 12 gram weight in H1, MCC White Midsize, D3.75 SW, 333 grams total weight (fitted originally by 2nd Swing, Twin Cities, MN). Was fitted by the Titleist rep at my course for the TSR3 8* A1 with AD UB 6X 45", 12 gram weight in H1, MCC White Midsize, D4.75 SW, 333 grams total weight. The swingweight difference in completely based on the balance of the shaft as the clubs are set up pretty much identical with same overall weight. CHS 112-115mph. My miss tends to be towards the heel.

Center strikes are pretty much the same. The huge difference are heel and toe misses. Played my first round with my TSR3 yesterday and completely heeled one on a 390 yard par 4. Felt like I almost missed the ball, hahaha. I was stunned to see the ball on a strong flight down the left side of the fairway leaving me 88 yards in. Loved my TSi3, but that would have been a high spinny weak left to right shot ending up in the right rough.

The sound and feel are much more solid on miss hits also. I missed a few thin and I pretty much got everything out of the shot I would have on a center strike. I would not have enough noticed the thin strike but for the ball mark on the face about 1/3 of the way up from the leading edge. Let's not forget that Titleist makes the best looking drivers giving you the most confidence at address.

After playing the Tsr for a while, I finally stopped over swinging and chasing those big gains. I don’t think the fitting was perfect but I am now seeing better numbers. Like the first comment, they are not huge gains. I have gained 5-7 yards on flush hits. But my misses are not as punished. I have fell in love with the Tsr.
  5. 5-7 yards and more forgiving on mis-hits is about all I would expect coming from a 2021 to 2022 driver tbh, unless the 2021 driver was completely wrong for you.
