    TT,

I'm looking at getting the new T100's not sure if I want to do a pw and 3 vokeys or go with a 46 vokey to match gap, sand and lob. Let me know your setup and thoughts.

    Thanks!

I would go for a pitching wedge and 3 vokey wedges personally but it is purely whatever you personal preference is

  4. I would go with a vokey 46° as the grooves on the vokeys control flyers much better and help retain more spin.
At the end of the day the PW is a scoring club and I think you will gain more control with the vokey

Depends on how you use the PW. If you pretty much only do full shots then T100 PW, but if you like to chip with it maybe Vokey is better.

4 vokeys look better in the bottom of the bag than 1 PW and 3 vokeys. haha

I personally have a set of T100's with 3 wedges. I asked one of my buddies who works at a Roger Dunn Golf Shop and is a fitter what he thought about that. He said that it depends on your skill. Having a PW from the T100 set is easier to hit than a wedge. If you can do it, go for it, but it's not for everyone since getting spin is based completely on skill.

Take that for what it's worth.
  7. For a full swing at 140 yards, I would much rather have my 47 PW over a vokey.

I use the PW more for long pitches and full swings. It also picks the ball cleaner off hard lies vs the 50. I have the option of a Sunday bag by using 42-49-56-64. I can hit a choke down 9 iron shot in this situation.

I played 4 vokeys and really enjoyed it. I used wedgeworks to custom grind my PW to match the iron set. It came out wonderfully. The biggest thing was consistency throughout the 4 wedges, instead of a gap in feel between set and vokey.
  10. I'd personally go with the PW and 3 Vokeys (which in fact I do lol). Typically your PW is going to be used for full shots, so to me it makes sense to have it the same as your irons.

    I'm using my T100 PW but SM9 in 50 56 60.

TXG had an interesting video about choosing set wedges vs specialty wedges: www.youtube.com/watch

Give it a watch - good info with data
  12. I've got T100s with the P (44) the W (48), and two SM9 Vokeys; 54 and 58. I find that I play the P and the 54 most often.

The set is one month new coming from AP2's so I'm still working out the full-swing yardages given the 2* stronger lofts.

Historically, I've played a PW and a sand wedge (56) only. So these new other high lofted clubs are taking time to get used to.
