  1. Hello, has there been issues with the TRS3 paint where the crown meets the face? I was fitted for a TSR3 and hit 3 balls at the range, all 3 no where near the top of the face and the paint is chipped. Is this a known issue, or anyone else have this issue? Super frustrating.

It will happen if a ball is hit very near the top line. It will also happen if clubs are not covered and the driver and 3 wood hit each other while in the bag. Other than that, no known issues but you can always contact Customer Service and see what they say.
  3. I would take that to the retailer and ask them to send it to Titleist. I had a similar issue recently with a TSR2 after 5 hits (clean range balls). I was told by the retailer that it is not supposed to chip there and Titleist is sending a replacement.
  4. To provide an update on this, I called Titleist customer service about this. They told me to take it to a local certified Titleist shop to start an RA and they will replace the driver head.

Can you please update us when you get a replacement?

I have 2 chips in exactly the same place on my head. I'm wondering if I should start an RA
  6. Yeah! I’ll let you know when I get a call that the club is in.

Same thing happened with my TSR2.. it is at Titleist now. I’m awaiting a decision and may not have my driver for club championship now. Very frustrating. Hopefully they replace it or it’s back to cally.

Tom it takes at least five days to get there and five days to get back by FedEx. Also they have to have time to exam it. How long has it been?

You can follow-up with the titleist account where you bought it and that shipped it back to Titleist on the status. They should have the RA number on file.
  12. I have the same thing in my TSR2, I need to get to the golf shop and start a RA as well. Would it be best to call customer service first? Maybe they will just send a replacement head? Thoughts?

Well Titleist came through huge! I already have my driver back. They replaced it with a brand new one, shipped it to my club and I already have it. Kudos to Titleist and their customer service, it’s truly top notch! Thank you Titleist!

CHulet… I called them first but it MUST go through and authorized golf shop. Take to to them and the whole process for me took just over a week!!

They sell a clear plastic strip that covers that area to the crown. It is suppose to protect from the dreaded “idiot mark”
    Works best on gloss heads.
