I’m sorry to hear that! I just bought a T100s set myself, but in chrome finish. I was really interested in the black, but everything I read from previous releases in black was that they wore quickly and poorly.

I did get 3 SM9 wedges with the black finish, and after just 1 round that finish was really worn. With wedges I like a worn look, but it confirmed how I felt about the finish on irons.

I’m sorry this happened and agree that the finish alone isn’t worth the extra cash, since it’s only cosmetic. My guess is you won’t be alone here. Disappointing, but remember it is only cosmetic and you still have a great toolset.

Call Customer Service and let them know.

Do you have any pictures? Took my T200 set to the range over the weekend. The finish seems to have held up pretty well. The range also had a 7 iron demo that has been hit many times and the head looks fine. So I want to see what is going on.

I have the black versions as well. The coating seems to be holding pretty well after about 10 rounds it is starting to wear of course, but I expect it to. Adds to the character of the club.

I received my T100s black finish irons on March 6. I’ve been to the range half dozen times and played 2 rounds. The finish on the face of the clubs are definitely showing markings from contact like any club would. They still look fantastic in the bag and at address.

So the heads are really an issue with the wear as its expected and adds character. My main issue is with the project x LZ onyx shaft that has worn badly after just 3 rounds in the trolley bag. Worried how bad they will look after a season in the pencil bag or carry bag. I wish these were available in a raw finish to match my vokeys
