A couple of thoughts here. First, the AP3 is more like the T200 and the AP2 is more like the T100 and T100S. It would definitely help for you to hit both the T100S and T200 to make sure you get what works best for you. As for the new irons, we might see info in August and some pros getting them but the general release will likely be a few months later and as always, a backlog in production will occur from peak demand. You also will not know until later what the new models will look like. Once the new ones are released, there will be discounted old sets but they will be stock models as custom from Carlsbad will be the new models.

In addition to what Dale said, don’t bank on a ready supply of discounted prior editions. Unlike past years, not all of the prior releases were discounted from their original release price with the new release. If supplies are limited, there may well be no discounts on floor stock with stock shafts. Other than the next release having a higher listed price.
