I’m stuck between getting t100 with a degree to 2 degree weaker in short irons or going Cb irons. Anyone have much experience on this

    ??? The CB/MB 9/P lofts are 43/47 degrees. The T100 lofts are 42/46 degrees.

I would buy the ones that performed best on a fitting. Then adjust lofts only if there are distance gaps that needed to be adjusted.

The CB/MB irons have been around for 4 years - and counting and I assume Titleist has determined if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The T100 is used by far more tour players than the CB/MB irons. The Generation 3 has been improved for more forgiveness with adjustments to the bottom for turf interaction and forgiveness by moving some tungsten around. Lofts are just numbers and even at the same loft, the CB/T100 will not perform exactly the same.

Speaking from my experience. I have the 620 MB and the new T100s. I was apprehensive about going away from my 620's initially just the whole feel and look thing (yeah I know) My lowest lofted Wedge is a 48. So I ordered my T100's (9-3 Iron) to match the lofts of my MBs. T100's do fly noticeably higher, but the distance and shot shaping performance is very similar.
